Nashville Moves Toward Better Teacher Pay

Or, so one can hope.  The Mayor’s proposed budget moves starting teacher pay in Nashville to $40,000.  Education and community leaders are applauding the bold step. 

And, it tracks with something I wrote not long ago about the importance of pay in the teacher quality discussion.
